The human heartbeat generates detectable magnetic fields on the order of picotesla to femtotesla at close range. This is significantly weaker compared to Earth's magnetic field (25–65 microtesla).

Now imagine a quantum magnetometer so advanced that it can detect such minuscule variations in magnetic field from 40 miles away, with AI “subtracting” the surrounding Earth’s magnetic field.

In a major strategic counter to China’s upstream dam-building activities, the Union Cabinet has approved the 1,720 MW Kamala Hydroelectric Project.

The project is a storage-based scheme with an integrated flood moderation component, proposed on the Kamala River, a key tributary of the Subansiri in the districts of Kamle, Kra Daadi, and Kurung Kumey in Arunachal Pradesh.

It involves the construction of a 216-metre-high concrete gravity dam along with an underground powerhouse. The project is estimated at ₹26,070 crore and is said to be completed within 96 months.
