As per Reuters, Saudi’s state-run oil company Aramco has told some buyers to load cargos at the Yanbu port in the Red Sea ⁠port. Saudi Arabia exports nearly 90 per cent of oil from the western port of Tas Tanura, which is connected to Yanbu by the East-West Pipeline.

The pipeline could transfer around 5 million barrels of oil per day while the Yanbu port could handle around 4.5 barrels per day (bpd), data shows.

Meanwhile, Egypt has offered to facilitate the export of Saudi oil through its Sumed pipeline, which can transfer crude to the Mediterranean. #Oil #Energy #Geopolitics
