India’s #robotics story is moving beyond lab demos to real industrial deployment ranging from inspection robots in power plants and warehouses to snake-like robots operating in confined spaces.

The market is projected to grow from $1.9 bn in 2025 to about $7.4 bn by 2034, driven by logistics, manufacturing and hazardous-environment applications.

But the ecosystem is still early-stage. Hardware imports, weak supply chains, and gaps in integrating software, sensors and AI remain key bottlenecks. Scaling robotics in India will require deeper domestic manufacturing and system integration capabilities.
