Btw Researchers at the IIISc Bangalore are attacking the 20 watt problem using something called Neuromorphic Computing. The team led by Prof. Sreetosh Goswami developed a molecular "Memristor", a component that can remember its electrical state w/o needing a constant power supply.

Most computers separate RAM from CPU & this Von Neumann bottleneck is where 80% of energy is wasted. The IISc Memristors do both in the same physical spot, just like a biological synapse.
