The French Ministry of the Armed Forces has publicly confirmed that India is pursuing a plan to acquire 90 Rafale F4 fighter jets, with an additional option for 24 Rafale F5s, marking the most explicit acknowledgment yet of New Delhi’s commitment to the aircraft’s upcoming variant.

Kamarajar Port Ltd will now build the ₹44,000-crore International Transhipment Port at Galathea Bay, Great Nicobar. Earlier, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority made the DPR, but the project responsibility is now shifted to Kamarajar Port.

The new port is declared India’s 14th major port. It will be built in 4 phases starting with 4 million TEU capacity and expanding to 16 million TEU by 2058.
