The Delhi Jal Board is working on a policy to deploy private operators to manage water and sewage services, on the lines of reforms by power distribution companies—with a sharp focus on curbing 50-52% water supply loss.

Delhi currently has 15,600 km of Water supply network managed by DJB.

Delhi to be divided into 8 Zones, each zone will have a separate operator.

Each operator to tackle repair, maintenance, billing works.

DJB to oversee works of 8 operators.

🚨Engine Failure Mid-Air: IndiGo Delhi-Goa Flight Makes Emergency Landing

➡️ IndiGo flight 6E-6271 from Delhi to Goa suffered with one of the two engines failing mid-air on July 16.
➡️ Pilots declared full emergency and diverted to Mumbai airport.
➡️ Airbus A320neo landed safely at 9:52 PM with all 178 passengers and crew safe.
➡️ Airline arranged an alternate aircraft for stranded passengers.
➡️ DGCA to conduct a detailed investigation into the incident.

Over the weekend, our Engineering team initiated precautionary inspections on the locking mechanism of the Fuel Control Switch (FCS) on all our Boeing 787 aircraft. The inspections have been completed and no issues were found. With this, Air India has complied with the directives of the DGCA issued on Monday, 14 July. All our Boeing 787-8 aircraft have also undergone Throttle Control Module (TCM) replacement as per the Boeing maintenance schedule. The FCS is part of this module: Air India #Aviation
