Fractal, a Mumbai-based AI company, has introduced Fathom-R1-14B, a 14-billion-parameter open-source model that sets new benchmarks in mathematical reasoning.

🎯 Performance Benchmarks-

The model achieved a 100% score of IIT-JEE advanced paper for FY25.

On olympiad-level exams like AIME-25 and HMMT-25, Fathom-R1-14B achieved:

52.71% Pass@1 accuracy on AIME-25

35.26% Pass@1 accuracy on HMMT-25

These results surpass models like o1-mini and o3-mini, and approach the performance of o4-mini.

Most importantly, this model was trained with a miniscule cost of $499 dollars! #Research
