•) RBI directs banks and White Label ATM Operators to ensure ATMs dispense ₹100 and ₹200 notes regularly.

•) As per the new guidelines, at least 75% of all ATMs must be configured to dispense either ₹100 or ₹200 notes by September 30, 2025.

Conclusion:
Demonetization 2016 pushed India toward a digital economy. Despite challenges like ₹500 counterfeiting, global trends like de-dollarization support the strategy. With ULI and CBDC, the vision of a transparent, resilient economy strengthens, but public awareness remains key.
