MHA Issues Directive to States and UTs to Invoke Emergency Powers

The Ministry of Home Affairs has written to chief secretaries and administrators of all states and Union Territories, urging them to invoke emergency powers under Civil Defence Rules.

This move is aimed at ensuring the efficient implementation of precautionary measures, possibly in light of heightened national security or disaster readiness scenarios.

Authorities have been asked to stay vigilant and act swiftly wherever required.

🔹🇵🇰🤝🇹🇷 Pakistan used Turkish kamikaze drones to test India's AD and gather intelligence. All of the 400 drones were intercepted successfully using both Kinetic and non-kinetic means.
🔹Indian armed forces launched offensive retaliatory strikes over 4 air defence sites inside Pakistan in which one AD radar of Pakistan was completely destroyed yesterday night
🔹 Pakistan faced heavy losses by Indian forces in CFV using heavy artillery shelling.
🔹 Pakistan is using civillian flights as a shield against Indian action. Even during high emergency, Pakistan did not inform civilian flights to divert from their airspace.
🔹 Pakistan attacked places of worship near LoC. Christ school was hit in Poonch, which led to death of two students.
