Example 1: Income = ₹14 lakh

0 - 4 lakh → No tax

4 - 8 lakh → 5% on ₹4 lakh = ₹20,000

8 - 12 lakh → 10% on ₹4 lakh = ₹40,000

12 - 14 lakh → 15% on ₹2 lakh = ₹30,000


✅ Total tax = ₹20,000 + ₹40,000 + ₹30,000 = ₹90,000

EAM Shri Dr S Jaishankar during his meeting with US Secy of State Rubio and NSA Waltz had made some conditions to rescue 18,000 illegal Indian migrants from the US.

The US has agreed to the following conditions of India:

1) No Indian shall be kept in 'Detention room' nor shall be handcuffed or tortured.

2) India shall take back all 18,000 Indians living illegally in USA.

3) All 18,000 Indians shall be allowed to bring their savings back without tax.

4) If any of those 18,000 have purchased any property, they shall be allowed to sell and repatriate.

5) $ 10,000 Security bond shall not be applicable to any Indian, while waiting to return to India.
