Most of these monuments are from the pre-Independence era. The Kos Minars, for example, were introduced under the rule of Sher Shah Suri to mark a distance of a little over 3 km.

The list includes monuments from across Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

IndiGo, India's largest airline, on Wednesday surpassed US-based Southwest Airlines in terms of market capitalisation to become the world's third most valuable airline, according to Bloomberg data.

💷 IndiGo's share price jumped by 4.73 per cent to Rs 3,806 on Wednesday, thereby elevating its market capitalisation to $17.605 billion, ahead of Southwest's market capitalisation of $17.333 billion.

🚨Protests in Nepal's capital Kathmandu.
Hundreds of protesters led by the leaders of Rastriya Prajatantra Party in-demand to restore Monarchy in the country.

Nepal's former king Gyanendra was removed from power in 2008 and these protests are being carried out to support the former King and bring him back in power. So far the riot police of the capital have charged bamboo batons and water canons to disperse the crowd and control protest but no major injuries were reported.

Protestors demand to bring the King back in power against this "Communist regime" who has "turned an eye" on China's land encroachment.

The crowd chanted, "We love our king and country more than our lives. Bring back the monarchy, abolish the republic".

Another demand is to turn back Nepal as a HINDU STATE. In the 2007 interim constitution, Nepal was declared as a secular state.
