Salute to the Lesser Known Heroes of 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack-
Mukesh Jadhav : A home guard earning mere ₹2800 per month gave up his life while guiding people at CST to safety. He saved nearly 50 lives and was least bothered about his own safety.
Captain Amitendra Kumar Singh of NSG lost his one eye during battle with the terrorists at Oberoi hotel. He had pinned down the terrorists so they threw grenade which led to eye injury.
Commando Sunil Yadav : Despite being injured by bullets of the terrorists he rescued rescued guests at Taj Hotel.
Arun Chitte : He was driver of Vijay Salaskar for 10 years. Both of they got martyred during ambush by Kasab and his partner Abu
Jillu Yadav : He gave tough fightback with his British Era .303 rifle and a handgun to terrorists at CST. This ultimately made them to leave the station.
Arun Jadhav : He was with Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte and Vijay Salaskar. He was the only one who survived the ambush and despite being hit by 3 bullets he called control room which led to eventual arrest of Kasab.
Vijay Khandekar : He was Wireless Operator and he was killed by terrorists at Cama hospital when terrorists threw grenades at the police party.
Sanjay Amrute : He saved many lives at Taj by carrying RDX placed by terrorists to a safe zone. It was a risky move as it could have gone off any moment.
Deepak Dole : Inspector Dole kept terrorists confined at one floor of Taj by continuously firing at them with handgun he had. He was seriously injured in the fire started by terrorists but kept fighting till NSG took charge at 4 AM.
Vijay Surve : A local Shiv Sena Shakha Pramukh helped the NSG forces by managing logistics.
Firemen and Hotel Staff : Both were not trained but they cared of the safety of guests and guided them yo safety.
And last but not least salute to all bravehearts who rose above call of duty and fought the ass holes
