HEL1OS captures first High-Energy X-ray glimpse of Solar Flares
๐ธDuring its first observation period from approximately 12:00 to 22:00 UT on October 29, 2023, the High Energy L1 Orbiting X-ray Spectrometer (HEL1OS) on board Aditya-L1 has recorded the impulsive phase of solar flares.
The recorded data is consistent with the X-ray light curves provided by NOAA's GOES.
๐ธCommissioned on October 27, 2023, HEL1OS is currently undergoing fine-tuning of thresholds and calibration operations. The instrument is set to monitor the Sun's high-energy X-ray activity with fast timing and high-resolution spectra.

On October 26th, the Indian hacker group 'INDIAN CYBER FORCE' had threatened a cyber attack in response to the death sentences handed to eight former Indian Navy officers by a Qatari court on charges of espionage.
On November 7th, they executed unauthorized server access, leaked credential data, defaced websites, and launched DDoS attacks.
They exposed account information related to Qatar and unauthorized access to Qatar's CCTV camera web servers. Additionally, they asserted that they carried out DDoS attacks on Qatar government websites and defaced a shopping mall site in Qatar.
