— This ban has also triggered a fentanyl crisis in West as drug users switch to synthetic drugs.

An estimated 135 million Indians came out of ‘multidimensional poverty’ between 2015-16 to 2019-21, with Bihar & Uttar Pradesh alone accounting for 56.8 million of them, a Niti Aayog report said.
