Funds parked by Indian individuals and firms in Swiss banks jumped to 14-year high of 3.83 billion Swiss francs (over ₹30,000 crore) in 2021 on sharp surge in holdings via securities and similar instruments, data showed. This includes funds parked through India-based branches and other financial institutions. Money in Indian customers' savings or deposit accounts rose to about ₹4,800 crore.

India added 3rd highest #renewable power capacity in 2021 after China, US: Report
India added around 15.4 GW of renewable power capacity in 2021, the third highest after China (136 GW) and the United States (43 GW), according to a global status report.
With this growth, India is now the third-largest market in the world for new solar photovoltaics (PV) capacity and ranked fourth in the world for total solar energy installations (60.4 GW) by overtaking Germany at 59.2 GW and following China (305.9 GW), US (121.4 GW) and Japan (78 GW).

A team of researchers from Delhi University has discovered 10 dinosaur eggs in MP's Dhar district. Among the mix is a unique egg which indicates that the species in India reproduce like birds.
The eggs were discovered in Dinosaur Fossil National Park and belong to a species of titanosaurs, a group of sauropod dinosaurs. The eggs have been found to be one within the other, a condition known as ovum-in-ovo or multi-shelled eggs.
