Abu Dhabi headquartered Lulu Group which has already completed Rs 2,000 crore Lulu Mall In Lucknow has announced another 3 new projects--one Lulu Mall each in Varanasi and Prayagraj and Lulu Food Proecessing Hub in Greater Noida.

While Lulu Mall Lucknow will be inaugurated in the coming days, the other 3 new projects are expected to be completed in two years time, announced Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman of Lulu Group while briefing PM Narendra Modi at the Lulu Pavilion, according to a press statement.

Adani to set up South Asia’s largest integrated ammunition manufacturing complex in Uttar Pradesh

UP Government has signed a MoU with the Adani Defence & Aerospace for investments worth Rs 1500 crore for setting up a state-of-the-art ammunition development and manufacturing complex in Kanpur node of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor. The complex spread over more than 250 acres will have state-of-the-art technology across small and medium caliber ammunition, along with short-range air defence missiles.

For second consecutive year, Nepal exports surplus electricity to India

Buoyed by surplus rainfall this year, Nepal is exporting surplus electricity to India through its power exchange market for the second consecutive year, state-owned power utility body, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said.

In November 2021, the Energy Exchange under India’s Power Ministry had granted permission to Nepal after persistent lobbying from Kathmandu, as the NEA is now in a position to sell its surplus energy.

PepsiCo to invest Rs 186 cr on expansion of Mathura food manufacturing facility

Food and beverages major PepsiCo India on Friday said it will invest an additional Rs 186 crore for the expansion of its food manufacturing facility at Kosi Kalan, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh to produce nacho chip brand Doritos. Following this, PepsiCo's overall investment in its largest greenfield foods manufacturing plant that produces Lay's potato chips would be Rs 1,022 crore.
