Earlier, each pesticide had to be approved by CIB&RC which would take 18-24 months. It's a step towards reaching the vision of "one village one drone" in the next three years, DFI President Smit Shah said.

Sri Lankan Foreign Minister GL Peiris on Wednesday said India will provide an additional $500 million in financial assistance to the country for it to buy fuel. Previously, India sent nearly 76,000 MT of fuel to Sri Lanka, taking the total supply of various types of fuels under Indian assistance to Sri Lanka to 2,70,000 MT.

Afaik the interlinking of petroleum & gas lines is also well underway for all nations named above with #SriLanka so far getting supplies via Ships. In time we should see Undersea pipelines laid along the Ram Setu route carry Gas & Oil to Sri Lankans via Jaffna.
The BBIN network is also getting operationalized later this year with uninterrupted vehicular traffic between Bangladesh, Nepal & India to begin with . In time we should look at an Undersea tunnel connecting Sri Lanka to India via road & Rail. Ferries are already in the works
imho we could soon see the emergence of a regional energy trading system wherein all nations part of the network can trade in energy with each other easily. The common transport network could facilitate a common tourist visa.
