Govt registered highest-ever 1.67 lakh companies in FY22, up 8% YoY
Corporate Affairs Ministry registered over 1.67 lakh companies incorporations in FY22, an 8% YoY increase from 1.55 lakh companies incorporations registered in FY21. This is the highest number of company incorporations in a financial year till date. The Ministry said it has taken many initiatives for reducing the number of procedures, time and cost for starting a business in India.
