🚨 BREAKING Defense News: The US announces sale of US$300 million in F-16 supplies to Taiwan, as confirmed by the Political-Military Affairs, US Dept of State
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said the Taiwan representative office in the US wanted to buy US$220 million of standard spare and repair parts for F-16s, as well as US$80 million of “non-standard spare and repair parts” for the fighter jets. The State Department said the sale would improve Taiwan's “ability to meet current and future threats by maintaining the operational readiness” of its F-16s fleet.

Between June 7-20, four amphibious task groups and multinational task units composed of more than 50 vessels, 25 aircraft and 9,000 personnel from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and the United States will participate in various maritime drills around the region.
