The theme of the exercise is βJoint Counterterrorism Operations and Humanitarian Assistance.β
About 2,000 military personnel and 500 pieces of military equipment are participating. The exercise will last until May 30.
Missions will be practiced on land and sea, with a focus on freeing hostages in cities, combating aircraft hijackings, conducting search and rescue operations, etc.
