The Army has received replacement funds to procure M2A4E1s to replace every single one of the over 300 M2A2 Bradleys provided to Ukraine thanks to the 5 Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Acts.
The M2A4E1 includes:
βΆοΈ The Iron Fist Hard Kill Active Protection System, made by Israel's Elbit Systems (who were just awarded a $37 million contract for this work)
βΆοΈ A new High Def Infrared Gunner's Sight
βΆοΈ & a new air conditioning unit

About 2,000 military personnel and 500 pieces of military equipment are participating. The exercise will last until May 30.
Missions will be practiced on land and sea, with a focus on freeing hostages in cities, combating aircraft hijackings, conducting search and rescue operations, etc.
