π°π· SOUTH KOREA plans to put into operations a newly unveiled homegrown submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) at sea around the second half of next year, sources said Monday.
Last week, the country unveiled its first homegrown SLBM by announcing the successful test-launch from the 3,000-ton-class Dosan Ahn Chang-ho submarine. South Korea became the world's seventh nation to have proven field operation capabilities of the system.

About 20 surface ships and support vessels of the Black Sea Fleet have deployed to the sea from their naval bases in Sevastopol and Novorossiysk to hold joint drills with missile and artillery firings. The warships have deployed to naval training ranges in accordance with a plan of the Black Sea Fleetβs combat training measures for the 2021 training year.

π UPDATE β Around 20 Russian warships began large-scale live fire exercises in the Black Sea on Monday, the Interfax news agency cited the Russian navy as saying, as Ukraine conducted joint military drills with the United States.
The joint military drills in western Ukraine this week come days after Belarus and Russia staged large-scale exercises that concerned neighbouring countries.
