⚓🇷🇺 Russian corvettes returned to the main base of the Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok after the Russian-Chinese exercise “Maritime Cooperation - 2024”.
They successfully completed about 30 combat exercises, including firing at sea, coastal and air targets.
In two weeks, the Russian Navy corvettes “Gromky”, “Rezkiy” and “Perfect” have left a distance of 4,800 nautical miles behind them (about 8,889 kilometers). After resupply and technical checks, they will continue to carry out tasks according to the combat training plan.

BREAKING – Two Russian Tu-95MS Strategic Bombers & Xian H-6K Strategic Bombers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force, supported by Su-30SM and Su-35S, carried out air patrols over the waters of the Chukchi, Bering Seas and the North Pacific Ocean.
The duration of the joint flight of Russian and Chinese aircraft was more than 5 hours. At certain stages of the route, the air group was accompanied by fighters from foreign countries (Canada & US see replies)
The event was held as part of the implementation of the military cooperation plan for 2024 and is not directed against third countries.

Japan plans to build a training site for surface -to-ship missile launches on a remote Pacific island, a defense ministry official said on Thursday, in its latest effort to strengthen the nation’s long-range strike capabilities amid China’s military assertiveness.
The ministry has already informed local officials of the plan to set up the facilities on Minamitori Island, Japan’s easternmost island, around 1,900km southeast of Tokyo, and start its operation in the 2026 financial year or later.
The plan emerged as Tokyo aims to acquire “counterstrike capabilities” of attacking targets in enemy territory directly in an emergency.
