At a meeting in Tallinn, the Standing Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly decided to grant the Ukrainian delegation to the PA the status of a candidate for NATO. The participants of the meeting expressed their support for Ukraine "to victory" β press service of PA NATO.
The number of delegates from Ukraine to the NATO PA will be increased from 8 to 12, which will correspond to the number of delegates that the alliance member countries have, PA President Michal Shcherba said.
In her turn, Kaia Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia, emphasized the need to continue the alliance's open door policy.
"This strengthens the alliance and gives hope to countries like Ukraine. Estonia's 20 years in NATO prove that shared values ββstrengthen collective security in Europe and beyond," Kallas said.

Ukraine is to receive 300 4x4 Iveco LMV/Lynx (Polish: RyΕ) armored vehicles from Belgium. The value of the vehicles is USD 450 million, or EUR 412 million. In addition to the Iveco LMV (Light Multirole Vehicle), three minehunters are also to be delivered.
