On Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. (Sanaa time), USS Mason (DDG 87) shot down one Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile (ASBM) launched into the Gulf of Aden from Iranian-backed Houthi controlled areas of Yemen. The missile was likely targeting MV Torm Thor, a U.S.-Flagged, owned, and operated chemical/oil tanker. Neither USS Mason nor MV Torm Thor were damaged and there were no injuries.

⚠️ WW3 INFO – What happens in Europe?

βš”οΈ Latvia, UK and Germany calling for compulsory military service including reservists to ensure a stronger security structure in Europe.

βš”οΈπŸ“‘ France and Germany want to advance the idea of a European Army and an air defense force led by Germany and many European countries have already been established.

☒️ Poland France and Germany are open to equipping themselves with nuclear weapons and are partly demanding this.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² πŸ—³οΈ All of this should be perceived in the light of a possible re-election of Trump.

πŸ›‘οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ•³οΈ Meanwhile, the US Army in Europe is running out of money because of training Ukrainian soldiers.

πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ίβš‘πŸ‡±πŸ‡Ή Russia begins to select Lithuania as its first NATO "victim", arguing that Vilnius is hurting the rights of Russian minorities, which was the reason for Moscow to invade Ukraine in 2014.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²βš‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ WW3 INFO – US Army in Europe is running out of money for everything!

πŸ—£οΈβš‘ "If nothing changes, and we do not receive additional money, we will run out of funding for everything β€” support to Ukraine, operations and exercises in Europe and Africa β€” at the start of summer," Col. O’Donnell, the public affairs director for the Army’s forces

Reason for the lack of resources: "U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF) is currently paying to fund Ukraine training ourselves," O’Donnell said

πŸ“° VOA News website wrote:
Without a 2024 budget approved by Congress, and without Congress passing supplemental funding for Ukraine, USAREUR-AF currently has roughly $3 billion to pay for $5 billion of operations costs, according to two U.S. Army officials.

In January, Germany delivered a naval mine clearance system to Ukraine. Until now, it was not definitely known which one, but today the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany has certainly unintentionally revealed that it is SeaFox, which is used by the best Navies around the world.

PS: Since only one system was delivered to Ukraine, I strongly assume that this is not the version that can destroy the mines.

βš‘πŸ—ΊοΈ WW3 INFO – History of the Cold War in Europe/Germany in Case of Total Escalation

Hans de Vreij wrote on X media:
On this day in 1991, the Warsaw Pact was dissolved.  That was the Soviet-led military counterpart of NATO. The map shows the zones that the member states had to defend in (Germany) the event of an attack.

The Netherlands had been allocated a narrow strip in the north of West Germany.  The Dutch Armed Forces were then considerably larger than they are now, with, for example, almost 1,000 tanks (now 18) and three army divisions (1 of which can be mobilized).

Currently, the Netherlands cannot even organize one division.  But even then, the Netherlands could not have defended its own territory on its own.
