Russia and Belarus formally opened vast joint military drills on Thursday, a week-long exercise across the territory of both countries and in the Baltic Sea that has alarmed some NATO countries.

RUSSIA – Servicemen from the Baltic Fleet's 336th Naval Infantry Brigade conducted a counter-amphibious landing exercise in Kaliningrad.

Note: Kaliningrad is located close to the borders of NATO members Poland and Lithuania.
