Reportedly the prime suspect of Delhi car blast Dr Umar Nabi, stayed at a mosque on Asaf Ali Road near Ramlila Maidan before the blast. After leaving the mosque, he went straight to the Sunehri Masjid parking lot.

He parked his car in the parking lot at around 3:19 pm.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at 10 locations across five states in an Al Qaida Gujarat terror conspiracy case involving illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. NIA teams conducted searches at premises linked with various suspects and their associates at the selected locations in the states of West Bengal, Tripura, Meghalaya, Haryana and Gujarat.
