Delhi | Director General Military Operations Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai says, "So the drones came in in large numbers even after the two DGMOs had spoken... Indian Army signed a contract with M/s Thales, UK for Light Weight Modular Missile (LMM) System on 15 Oct 2025. The LMM is a man-portable, laser beam riding missile designed for deployment across all operational terrains, including high-altitude areas. It is effective against aircraft, helicopters, UAVs and UCAVs with low IR signatures at ranges beyond 6 km, in all-weather conditions.
