Saudi Arabia has asked France, Britain, Pakistan and Egypt to deploy air-defence support, AP reports citing regional officials.

The request comes amid a shortage of missile interceptors as the kingdom faces continued missile and drone threats.

One official described Saudi Arabia as being in a “very difficult position.”

🚨🇷🇺🇪🇺Russia’s representative Yulia Zhdanova claimed that NATO plans to escalate its confrontation with Russia into a “hot phase” by 2029–2030.

She linked European infrastructure upgrades, military mobility and a “military Schengen” to preparations for a long-term confrontation with Russia.

NATO, however, publicly describes its preparations as aimed at deterrence and defence, with officials warning that Russia could potentially be capable of attacking NATO territory within several years.

🚨US APPROVES $2.68 BILLION AIR DEFENCE PACKAGE FOR UKRAINE 🇺🇸🇺🇦

The US State Department has approved a possible $2.68 billion sale of air-defence equipment and support to Ukraine.

The package includes extended-range air-defence systems, mobile launchers, counter-drone radars, spare parts, software and technical support.

Ukraine would finance the purchase through European contributions and previously appropriated US Foreign Military Financing (FMF).

🚨 TUSK CLAIMS 1,000 UKRAINIAN LOSSES DAILY 🇵🇱🇺🇦🇷🇺

Polish PM Donald Tusk said Ukraine is losing around 27,000 military personnel per month, roughly 900–1,000 per day, according to information he said came from Kyiv.

Tusk attributed the increase to Russia’s use of new jet-powered drones and other battlefield technologies. The figure refers to killed and wounded, not deaths alone.

🚨 UKRAINE STRIKES MOSCOW OIL REFINERY 🇺🇦🇷🇺

A Ukrainian drone attack hit the Moscow oil refinery in the Kapotnya district, triggering a fire at the facility.
The refinery has a capacity of around 11 million tonnes of crude annually and supplies roughly 40% of Moscow’s fuel market.

Russian authorities said several drones reached the refinery. The full extent of the damage and impact on operations remains unclear.

Houthi leader Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti warned Porki and Turkey of a “decisive” military response if they intervene alongside Saudi Arabia in Yemen.

The warning comes after Turkey said it could provide military and technical support to Saudi Arabia under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. The pact treats an attack on one member as an attack on all three.

The stand-off precision weapon is designed for 140+ km range when released from high altitude, keeping the launching aircraft farther from enemy air-defence zones.
