INDIA' SLOWING EXPORTS
India’s exports declined about 16.7% in October 2022 compared with the same period 2021, raising concerns.
Factors of Slowing Export Demand
✓Weaker Global Demand: the global economic growth is decelerating sharply in the wake of persistently high inflation across developed countries and, as a result, as sharp tightening of monetary policy.
✓Inflation: has been driven up more by local factors, including higher food prices, than imported reasons
✓Fall in oil and other export
✓Rising Global Trade Tension: trade war between the US and China and other global trade wars has impacted growth all over the world.
Positive Signals to the Economy -
✓Despite the slowing export scenario, it is likely that domestic demand will carry through.
✓The investment cycle will be reinvigorating which will spur growth and job creation in the coming days.
✓The private sector capital expenditure is on track to touch six lakh crore this fiscal 2022-23 which would make it the highest of the past six years.
- Private capex typically depends on credit, or loans, from the banking system.
- And that has seen a healthy growth in the recent past touching a high of 18% in September, 2022.

HIGH ALTITUDE BALLON - A BRIEF
✓ Bloons have been in frequent used for schedule tickets now through the first use go back to at least 200 years.they are used mainly for scientific purposes but increase thengle for tourism and joy rides,
surveillance and disaster relief and rescue.
✓ These balloon can be large as football stadium and go up to 40 to 50 km from the ground and carry a thousand kilogram for payloads.most of these are built of thin sheets of polythene like common plastic bags and I feel mostly with the helium gas.
Balloons have a basket attached to them called gondoals that carry instruments or human beings.
SCIENTIFIC MISSION
✓The most common use of balloons for weather. Whether agencies routinelyuse balloon to make measurements of air temperature, pressure, wind speed and direction & aerosol concentration.
✓They offer better opportunities to observe specific part of earth and also thousand of time cheaper than satellites.NASA has a full fledged balloon program that does 4-5 launches every year.
✓Even balloon base experiments have resultted in at least two noble prisis for physics in 1936 and 2006.

SURVEILLANCE
High altitude balloons are tempting vehicles for astronauts operation through their use not known to be very common.
The advantage is they can over over an area for a prolong time big balloons carry a thousand kilograms of a pay load which means they can packed with spying instruments.
The bigger advantage is to be remains undetected. Because of their relatively slow motion, they are flagged by birds by defence radars.
BALLOONING IN INDIA
✓Scientific balloons have been used in India for more than 70 years the first one have been sent in 1948 by Homi Bhabha for cosmic research from TIFR Tata institute of fundamental research.
✓Sometimes later in 1969 the TIFR open the full fled balloon facility in Hyderabad which remains India's largest speciality today. It is regularly used by the space institution under ISRO and weather research institutions like Indian Institute of Tropical Metrology in Pune.
Institution like the Bengaluru based Indian Institute of Astrophysics and Hyderabad's Osmania University as well as some private educational institutes also have balloon programs.
