Air India signs world's largest order contracts with Airbus and Boeing
Recall that after the privatization of the company and its acquisition by the conglomerate Tata Sons, Air India intends to order almost 500 aircraft from both Airbus and Boeing
Airbus will order 235 Airbus A320neos + 40 A350s. Boeing will receive a contract for 190 B737 MAX aircraft, as well as 20 B787 Dreamliners + 10 B777Xs.
Air India "delayed" with the coordination of details with Airbus. The contract with the European concern was reportedly signed last Friday. At the same time, the contract with Boeing was finalized and signed on January 27.
