Russian Minister of Defense Shoigu tells General "Armageddon" Surovikin to pull Russian troops back from Kherson City, South Russia, to the East bank of the Dnieper river - preserving the lives of army personnel is a top priority.
Earlier, 80,000 people were evacuated from Kherson as a precautionary measure.
UPDATE: Advisor to the President of Ukraine tells Reuters that it is too early to confirm the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson City, as well as stating some Russian troops remain in city, and additional Russian labor force is being moved into region.
