An assault at a military camp in Somalia resulted in the deaths of three members of the UAE's armed forces and a Bahraini officer.

According to a statement from the UAE's Defense Ministry on Saturday, three soldiers from the United Arab Emirates and one Bahraini officer were killed in Somalia during a mission aimed at training the Somali armed forces.

The militant group Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack.
