Japan issues tsunami alert after magnitude 7.5 earth quake in northeastern area .

Tsunami warnings have been issued in South Korea and Russia's far-eastern cities of Vladivostok and Nakhodka after a massive 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Monday, knocking out power for thousands and smashing 1-meter waves into the Sea of japan coastline.

The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a major tsunami warning - which usually means waves at least 3 meters high are expected - in the coastal prefectures of Ishikawa, Niigata and Toyama.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida urged residents in areas threatened by tsunamis to evacuate their homes immediately.

US Drone Strikes Iraqi Military HQ - official source

An American drone struck the headquarters of the Iraqi militia in Baghdad, a US official confirmed to Reuters on condition of anonymity.

According to him, the target was the car of the militia leader, who is accused of attacks on US forces in the country. His name is not mentioned.

Earlier, the media reported four dead and six injured.
