Dear Love and Deepspace Team, Thank you for taking the time to listen to your community and for communicating with us during such a difficult situation. I know these past few days have been overwhelming for everyone involved, and I truly appreciate the effort your team has made to respond to player feedback. However, I wanted to reach out as one of the many players who is genuinely heartbroken by the decision to cancel Valko. Valko was not just another character to me. From the moment he was revealed, I was captivated by his design, his mystery, and the potential of his story. After months of waiting for a new love interest, he brought back my excitement for the game. I was eagerly looking forward to experiencing his romance, learning about his past, and seeing how he would fit into the world of lads. I completely understand why many players were frustrated. Long-awaited story updates for the existing love interests deserve attention, and those concerns are valid. But I don't believe Valko himself was the problem. Cancelling him doesn't erase the issues that players were asking to be addressed-it only disappoints another part of the community that was excited to welcome him. I also can't help but think about everyone who poured their heart into creating him: the writers, artists, animators, programmers, musicians, voice actors, and everyone behind the scenes. They spent countless hours bringing this character to life. It would be heartbreaking for all of that work to disappear without players ever getting the chance to experience it. Please consider another solution instead of permanently cancelling him. Even if his release needs to be delayed until the current love interests receive the updates they deserve, I would gladly wait. I believe many other players would too. Lads has always been about creating unforgettable memories for us. Valko already became meaningful to many of us before we even had the chance to meet him. It would be incredibly sad if his story ended before it ever began. Thank you for reading my message. Regardless of your final decision, I hope you'll remember that there are many players who were excited for Valko and who still hope one day he'll find his place in Love and Deepspace.
