We’re reaching out now for emergency assistance keeping hot running water in this location.

The gas service has notified us that shut-off, with $900 overdue, will be 25 May 2025… the day after tomorrow.

On May 25th, it will then require $1,300 (instead of $900) to reconnect.

I set the deadline in the title for tomorrow, Saturday the 24th of May, because by the time we hit Sunday morning we'll already have to pay the higher amount to get our hot running water back.

Ways to help:

Share this post and other posts we make with people and organizations who might be able to help. We ask gratefully for your assistance extending our outreach.

Reach out to me via the contact information linked on this page.

If you are moved to do so and have the means, you can donate via PayPal to our 508c1a nonprofit organization, where funds reach us most immediately and directly, by another link on the same page below.

Learn more ways you can support us, there, too.

Deep gratitude to you. 🌺

Anytime a holiday like Memorial Day rolls around, this is what comes to mind these days.

I want so much to pay respect and homage to the souls that gave their lives in what is seemingly the ultimate sacrifice and have it feel like it is meaningful.

Yet I want zero part in glorifying our men dying in senseless brother wars that only keep the wheels of the military-industrial complex turning.

I know there are families out there mourning tremendous loss, and so I do not want to minimize their pain. I guess sometimes there is a such thing as “too much information”.

"...Nietzsche wrote, 'Untroubled, scornful, outrageous—that is how wisdom wants us to be.'
Sophia (wisdom) loves those who preserve and protect her ways, women and men alike, warriors in the line of beauty."
