Every year, the “May 9 Committee” march pulls nationalists in from across Europe — men coming in by train, by car, slipping through border towns and side streets — all to honor fallen comrades killed in clashes with police or hunted down by Antifa violence.

This year the politicians tried to bury it before it even began. Bans, threats, media hysteria, the usual machinery of the modern police state grinding into motion. But the march still happened. Nationalists gathered anyway, moving through the city in a secret demonstration, shoulder to shoulder beneath the pressure, refusing to let their dead be erased.
