📈 While Bitcoin  remains one of the most valuable and secure cryptocurrencies, its vision of becoming a "peer-to-peer electronic cash system" is still distant due to transaction speed limitations.

This issue has persisted, and one of the primary solutions currently proposed is the adoption of Layer 2 technology. However, due to Bitcoin's lack of smart contract functionality, existing BTCLayer2 solutions commonly face centralization issues.

🙌Over the past week, we've had the participation of thousands of nodes in the Bool Network node deployment. Bool team sincerely expresses gratitude to all for actively participating in the Bool Network Devnet node deployment.

💪At the mean time, throughout the node deployment, we have not only received feedback and suggestions from users but also identified some issues with the process. For instance, certain DHC nodes have proven to be unstable, leading to a decrease in network security. Therefore, to ensure the stability of the Bool Network, after thorough discussions within the team, we have ultimately decided to temporarily suspend Devnet node deployment to optimize node thresholds and network stability. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

🍀Bool Team will deeply optimize the node participation and penalty mechanisms to ensure the stability of DHC nodes and the overall security of the network. We plan to reopen node deployment to the public in the near future, and we encourage you to stay tuned for further updates!

🔍 Explore the core technology of Bool Network: the “Dynamic Hidden Committee”

In Bool Network, the Dynamic Hidden Committee (DHC) is a key technology designed to enhance the #security and decentralization of the network. Through a simple example, we can better understand how it works: 👇

Let us envisage a situation where you are a commander of an army overseeing the safekeeping of 50 granaries with the help of 1000 soldiers. How would you deploy your soldiers?

In the event of all granaries being equally significant, the optimal tactic would be to divide the 1000 soldiers into 50 groups, each consisting of 20 soldiers, to guard each granary.

However, this approach entails a peril. If over half of the soldiers in one team collude, they may cause their designated granary to be lost, and thus jeopardize the overall mission. In other words, if 11 soldiers in a team conspire, they may betray their authority, and take over the granary.

This impels the implementation of a countermeasure to deter conspiracy and prevent the granaries from being compromised. The solution is to apply the concept of “Dynamic Hidden Committee”. 🔑

🌊 Dynamic: It necessitates the dynamic reformation and reassignment of soldiers into different teams every day. This empowers each soldier to guard a granary distinctly and work alongside different teammates every day.

🔮 Hidden: Each soldier’s vision is obscured, and they are not apprised of which granary they are safeguarding nor who their teammates are.

The conspiring soldiers would be unable to collude cohesively owing to their ignorance of whom to plan with. Even if premeditated colluders are present, they would be unable to control other team members or determine whether the other participants belong to the same team.
