Like Lake Bardwell, Lake Ray Hubbard was started in the mid-1960s. Finished in 1968.
The lake used to be called Eastern Dallas Lake as well as Fourney Lake. Then they changed the name to Lake Ray Hubbard. Doesn’t that sound like L Ron Hubbard?
The George Bush turnpike
Highway 66 crosses the bridge. (66 you say? That’s 33 twice).
and Union Pacific (rail) all cross portions of the lake.
It also lies near the 33rd degree parallel.

Then we have Lavon Lake (sounds like Anton LaVay).
They too “modified” the lake in the 1960s to add recreation as a “purpose” of the lake.
Recreations=people and boats allowed in lake.
Lavon Lake IS on the 33rd degree parallel.

Let’s look into the Ennis area a little further, and into some other entities.
Now let’s look into the Cement companies. There are two. This isn’t Cemex so they may not have anything to do with anything. But let’s at least look at some pictures of these locations.
There are two Masonic lodges in Ennis. It appears there was a 3rd that is permanently closed.
There is a Masonic Lodge and an Oddfellow’s lodge.
