I’m going to share some excerpts from two articles regarding horses. I know this is Kentucky Derby Day. This might be the best day to shed light on what happens to many of the horses.
Heidi from Watch the Water has done a dive into horses and Adrenochrome ex traction. This is a must read.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been to the Derby twice. I’ve also had a previous side business doing millinery and designing Derby hats. But knowing what I know now about the horses, I feel it’s time we shed light onto the business of blood extraction and organ harvesting with the horses, particularly thoroughbreds.
Many of you know that we started the Stormy Daniel’s Deep Dive in March. We aren’t finished. Something nefarious happened with the horses as it relates to her story. We will be circling back to that in the coming week(s).

Horses begin training or are already racing when their skeletal systems are still growing and are unprepared to handle the pressures of running on a hard track at high speeds.
Between 700 and 800 racehorses are injured and die every year, with a national average of about two breakdowns for every 1,000 starts.
Horses do not handle surgery well...Many are euthanized in order to save the owners further veterinary fees and other expenses for horses who will never race again.

Many racehorses become addicted to drugs.
There are trainers pumping horses full of illegal drugs every day.
Which drugs are legal varies from state to state, with Kentucky holding the reputation as the most lenient.
...to keep the horses (thoroughbreds) going, they’re all given Lasix (which controls bleeding in the lungs), phenylbutazone (an anti-inflammatory), and cortiscosteroids (for pain and inflammation).
Those drugs, although legal, can also mask pain or make a horse run faster.

A Colorado State study found that of the 1,348 horses sent to slaughter, 58 were known to be former racehorses.
(for example)Ferdinand, a Derby winner and Horse of the Year in 1987, was retired to CLAIBORNE FARMS and then changed hands at least twice before being “disposed of” in a slaughterhouse.

Shocking evidence has uncovered the existence of "blood farms" in the U.S. as well as in countries like Argentina and Uruguay.
Blood farms are a high dollar enterprise where "donor herds" of horses are kept for blood extraction purposes only.
The blood taken from pregnant mares is especially in high demand, because it contains a precious hormone used to produce a veterinary drug needed by the pork industry.
