Pat Tillman will be honored today at the Super Bowl.
Tillman went to Arizona State AND was supposed to play for the Arizona Cardinals, but turned down a $3.6 million contract in order to enlist in the US Army in May 2002. This was in response to the Sep 11 attacks, whereby he wanted to serve his Country fight in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He died on 4/22/2004.
His death has been the center of controversy.
