This rabbit hole always seems to go in a circle. I did a short search on who the Ross Center was named for. Libby Rose named it for her late husband, Richard Ross.  The search on him revealed a bombshell. He and his father owned Ross Labs which sold to Abbott Labs. I am attaching the article that shows how they developed Similac (milk). We also know that the Nestle company wad involved in getting rich off of formula which killed many babies.
