Then we have nearby PYRAMID LAKE just outside of RENO.

We went here to go water skiing back back when we had a ski boat.

This was the creepiest lake I had ever been in.

We didn’t even get in the water. It was so weird.
Dead lake.

We only lasted 30 min on water before we decided to leave.

LAKE TAHOE is only 30 min from Reno.

People who vanished from Pyramid Lake ended up in Lake Tahoe!!

This body of water sits just outside the
GRAND SIERRA RESORT Hotel in Reno, Nevada.

I used to come to this hotel since I was in high school. My Mom loves to play slots.

This hotel has had many names.

That body of water has ALWAYS been there…though I could never figure out what it was used for.

As you can see…the walls of this body of water are just CEMENT!!

No shoreline.
Just a cement pond you can drive golf balls on.

After we left Yosemite a few weeks ago, we headed East through the Nevada Desert. That’s where we saw the CLOWN MOTEL in Tonopah.

We ended up passing MONO LAKE.

This place was equally as creepy as PYRAMID LAKE

Not that far from
MONO LAKE is WALKER LAKE.

WHY is there a Navy SUBMARINE BASE in the middle of the NEVADA DESERT…in Hawthorne, Nevada???
