So the “worst of the waves” are over in Hawaii.

Haven’t heard about any damage.

California was supposed to be hit 90 minutes ago.

There is no coverage of the California/West Coast angle …just Hawaii on our local Bay Area news.

So far it appears that it was built up to be something bigger than it was.
Who were the networks that covered and those that didn’t?

Hopefully the sleepers are figuring this out.

I was just at the DMV.

They are REALLY pushing Organ Donation.

Many are asking how to get off the “donor” list if you already registered with the DMV.

The DMV will NOT remove you off the registry, even if you don’t want to be on the registry.

You have to call the DONATE FOR LIFE hotline to get it removed.
Then contact the DMV to get a new license issued.

Here’s something else I learned today…

The RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENTS are no longer using
LEAD SHIELDS for patients getting X-Rays…even pregnant women.

“Are lead aprons and other shields still necessary for most patients? No, recent guidelines from organizations like the
American College of Radiology (ACR) and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) suggest that routine use of lead shielding is often unnecessary and does not provide significant benefits for most patients. The focus is now on minimizing radiation exposure using improved equipment and techniques instead of relying solely on physical shielding.”

The Radiology Tech told me the NRC Nuclear Regulatory Commission determined that the
lead shields were actually MORE harmful than no shield at all.
