Magically…The officials from the US Figure Skating Association said “Rule 5.05 on page 193 of their guidelines states that the International Committee of the USFSA could select skaters WHO HAD NOT COMPETED IN THE MOST RECENT NATIONALS.”

HAYES ALLEN JENKINS
was the
World Champion for 4 consecutive years.

He won the GOLD at the 1956 Olympics.


Then RETIRED.

Hayes Allen Jenkins had a brother that was a skater as well.


Imagine that.

DAVID JENKINS was the
1960 Olympic GOLD winner for Men’s Figure Skating.


Why didn’t he compete in 1961 at the World Championships in Prague?

Because he “RETIRED.”

•by the way…that fatal plane crash in 1961, was headed to Prague when it crashed.

David Jenkins won
3 consecutive World titles.
4 consecutive National titles
AND
won the Gold medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics

After the 1960 Olympics, Jenkins “RETIRED!”

He then joined the Ice Follies.
