What kind of a skater was Nancy Kerrigan really??

Well, let’s go back and see:

1991

Nationals: Kerrigan (bronze).
Worlds:…Kerrigan (bronze)
By the way,
Kristi Yamaguchi won Gold; Tonya Harding
won silver.

1992
Nationals…Kerrigan (bronze)
Worlds…Kerrigan (silver)
Olympics…Kerrigan (bronze).

It appears that Kerrigan was a 3rd place type-skater. Yamaguchi and Harding were BETTER than her. Not the other way around.

Then what happened??

RULE CHANGE!
1992.

The Summer and Winter Olympics used to be held every 4 years…in the same calendar year.

It was decided by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that the Summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics would NOT be held on the same calendar year anymore.

Instead…
The Winter Olympics would get an extra round just two years later (1994), before it would go back to being held every four years.

Now we move to
Nancy Kerrigan
in the year 1993.

~
the year before she was “clubbed.”

“…her performance was flawed.”

“She won the short program at the World Championships in Prague, but had a
disastrous free skate that resulted in her tumbling to fifth
in the standings.”

“It was followed by an even worse performance at a televised pro-am event, where
she fell three times, botched the landing of another jump, and appeared dazed and depressed
, losing to 1988 Olympian Caryn Kad
avy.”

☝️Exactly my thoughts!!

Think back to Brice Taylor and the insane Satanic (emphasis on “satanic”) MK Ultra Ritual Abuse she experienced.

Was this happening in the
Figure Skating World too??

85% of Figure Skaters
suffer/suffered from
eating disorders.

This is INSANE!!

Pressure?
Something “else” going on??
Both??

THESE are the things we need to be thinking about.

This is an interesting article.

The picture above is the Rockettes. MK Ultra.

Did it extend to skating as well?
ICE CAPADES??

We will get to that much later in this very long dive!!

Back to Nancy…

“Those disastrous 4 minutes in Prague.”

1993.
The year before
Nancy Kerrigan got “whacked.”

Sooo…
Then what happened?

It appears that in 1993
Nancy Kerrigan’s
skating trajectory was going down.

Her performances were “FLAWED.”

AND…

Before and after the
1992 Olympics…
Nancy Kerrigan had CORPORATE
SPONSORSHIP
CONTRACTS
with:

•Campbell's Soup,
•Evian,
•Reebok, and
•Seiko

WHY?
She was a Bronze medalist at best.

Bottom Line: ((THEY)) needed her to do well.
They put ((their)) chips behind her…and she wasn’t measuring up.

Did ((they)) come up with an alternative plan to deal with what was going on?
.

Furthermore…was
Nancy Kerrigan even eligible to compete in the upcoming 1994 OLYMPICS since she was accepting money from corporations…and was therefore considered a “PROFESSIONAL” and not an “amateur?”

Not to worry…the
Figure Skating World came up with a work-around.
👍23🤯106😡31
The International Skating Union abolished the earlier strict amateur status rules that had governed eligibility for the sport.

☝️☝️
By the way…notice it says that Nancy Kerrigan BEGAN working with a
“Sports Psychologist” during this time when she was ALREADY raking in millions from 4 different Big Corporations??
Why even bother?

Was “sports psychologist” code for “MK Ultra programming?”

Did Nancy need/was assigned a sports psychologist so that she would compete/could be controlled in the Olympics, knowing her skating was very “flawed”??!!

Thinking out loud…

International Skating Union aka the ISU is headquartered in Lusaka, SWITZERLAND since 1947.

Ha.
1947.

Does the year 1947 ring a bell??

CIA…1947.

Back to Nancy Kerrigan.

Now we are at the Year: 1994.

What happened??

Remember..in any given year of the Winter Olympics the order of Figure Skating competitions that are held…from earliest to latest…are:

Nationals.
Then
The Olympics.
Then
The “Worlds.”

Being that the “World Championships” are held after the Olympics, the skaters who are chosen to represent the United States for the Olympic Team…come from the results of The U.S.Nationals Competition.

The gold and silver medalists are normally who is selected to go forward to
The Olympics.

Remember..
NANCY KERRIGAN did POORLY in 1993.

•She also has 4 large Corporations who need her to do well:
Campbell’s, Evian, Reebok, and Seiko.

What
happened
Next???
🔥193
The 1994 US Figure Skating Championships were held between Jan 4th-Jan 8th, in Detroit.

The “ladies program” was going to be held on the last night, January 8th.

On January 6, 1994, at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit…as Nancy Kerrigan was walking through a corridor at Cobo Arena immediately after a practice session…she was bludgeoned on the right lower thigh with a police baton by an assailant.

He was later apprehended and identified as Shane Stant.

Yes…this happened
TWO DAYS BEFORE KERRIGAN WAS SUPPOSED TO PERFORM AT THE U.S.NATIONALS.

Remember…Kerrigan’s performances the year prior were not good.

Because of this injury, Kerrigan couldn’t compete in the U.S.Nationals.

According to normal rules, the top two medalists would go forward.

In this case it was
Tonya Harding and
Michelle Kwan.

Tonya’s standing as “gold medalist” would later be retracted. But not til after The Olympics.
