We just paid $223 for electricity used 2 months ago and today it is $481!!! It’s literally the three of us!! We use maybe 4 lights at night and it’s been cool enough to not use the AC!! 🙄🤦🤬👹💩

400 in AZ and I never paid more than 250

First month after Dominion installed "Smart Meter" (NE NC), our usual $100 bill for Nov was $1255! Next month was the same, and Jan 2024 was $1400+! Fought with them til March before they corrected the fraudulent billing and removed the Smart Meter. Bills now back to normal.

I’m from NJ. I live in a 2500 sq ft home and paid roughly 400.00 for the hottest months here which are
July & August. I’d have the company come and reread the meter. Maybe it’s an error?

I just looked at our 2024 year of PGE bills as well as Fall 23. Each month it went up and we literally we not at the house for a week to 2 weeks some months. 2 people and we have an efficient house and are very careful with what we use.

But hey we got a $55 Climate Credit this month to drop our $500 bill to $450. 🤪

In Ontario Canada we have to pay $400 and we also pay there pension on our bill. 🤮

We live in Texas and our bill has been between $700-$1200 per month for the last year. Smart meter was installed a little over a year ago. We used to average $250-$350 per month, before. I called the electric company one month to ask for an extension to pay. She put me on hold and when she came back on, she told me that I had 2 days to pay or we would be cut off!
