Update from our moderator Kimberly Hall. She has been helping out in North Carolina since it was safe to go in there after the hurricane.
By the way…she has been reporting tightness in her chest at the end of every day. It’s been hard for her to breathe.
She wonders if it’s the lithium.

Ok, so here’s what’s going on in the area I’m working in, called Black Mountain, NC. I’m actually working in the town of Burnsville.
I’m not working for an “organization” or anything like that. God put me into “people’s paths” for a reason and I’m forever blessed for that.
We are going to what we call a “Phase 2” right now which means we need heaters, generators, tents, anything for these people to survive and not freeze to death. These people are being told they’re not going to have power until AT LEAST July, 2025, so it’s extremely blatant as what the governments “point is” and it’s to freeze them out.
There are illegals of whom I literally had to chase out of the distribution center, trying to take tools and generators that OUR PEOPLE need in these mountains. We’re all having to “watch our backs” when it comes to that “situation.”
They are turning away clothes and water right now due to the mass supplies we already have. We have had such a beautiful turnout from people all over the Country and We are getting it done and I couldn’t be more proud. People are donating chainsaws, oil, gasoline, gasoline cans, tents, sleeping bags (it went down to the lower 40’s last night), propane heaters, hand warmers, etc. We are going into “survival mode” at a high speed here- it’s getting cold at 4000 ft.
Haven’t really seen FEMA except for the “circling around parking lots” we are distributing in. Merely “scare tactics” and we have “bigger fish to fry” like saving lives. What I do see flying around are a lot of buzzards over this one particular hill for the past 2 days. I asked the guy, beside me, what was over there and his reply (with a tear in his eye), “Cattle.” He said that community alone had just about “lost all of its cattle.” It’s really sad.
I had to take the day off and looks like maybe tomorrow as well. My breathing is “off” and I’m running a “slight fever”- just enough to make me uncomfortable, lol. Not exactly sure of WHAT ALL I’m breathing up there but one thing I haven’t really seen is a mask. There was a man and as he was looking for a “ball cap” he liked there was a masks sewn into it and that man took his hands and ripped that mask right off that hat, put it on and gave me a 😉. Lots of Peace and Gratitude going on in the Appalachians but we’re nowhere close to being “out of the woods.” God Bless🙏🏻
