Dahl's stories were known for their dark undertones. They were macabre.

Most of the stories featured adults who were villains….and were enemies of the children.

WHY??☝️☝️
1
Roald Dahl was born and raised in WALES to Norwegian parents.

Roald’s father was a SHIPBROKER.

SHIPBROKER?

Anyone know what that is?
19
SHIPBROKER.

Shipbroking is a service, which forms part of the global shipping industry.

Shipbrokers are intermediaries between shipowners and charterers… who use ships to transport cargo

WHAT KIND OF CARGO?

Always be asking what, who, where, when, how!!

Roald Dahl's sister Astri died from appendicitis at age 7 in 1920 when Dahl was 3 years old..”

…and his father Harold died of pneumonia at age 57 several weeks later.” Upon his death Harold left a fortune…which was assigned to probate.

Hmmm. Sister dies at age 7?
Father dies a few weeks later?
Fortune goes to probate?

Anyone getting bad vibes??

ROALD DAHL attended
The Cathedral School.

Logo for The Cathedral School above.

Reading the stories of Dahl you understand the narrative in his books….

BUT it also makes you wonder about the content of his books. CHILDREN!

What was REALLY going on??

☝️Donovan…want to decode that logo??😁
Anyone who knows, please chime in!

This Repton School in Derbyshire sounds like a nightmare!!
🤯28🤬31
Repton School Headmaster Geoffrey Fisher was viciously caning children.

Fisher was later appointed Archbishop of Canterbury, and he crowned Queen Elizabeth II in 1953!!

WOW!!
😢23🔥7😈5👍21
ROALD DAHL viewed the brutality of the caning as being the result of the headmaster's animosity towards children.

This was an “attitude” Dahl would later attribute to the
Grand High Witch in his dark fantasy book, “The Witches.”

WITCHES??
CHILDREN??

Sounds very cruel AND satanic!
😈207😢5
Remember…Dahl wrote a book called WITCHES.

Dahl’s parents were Norwegian and they emigrated to Britain.

The book features a “young English boy and his Norwegian grandmother in a works where child-hating societies of WITCHES secretly exist in every country.

THE WITCHES ARE RULED BY THE VICIOUS AND POWERFUL GRAND HIGH WITCH!!

Now check this out. ☝️

This will explain why
Roald Dahl wrote about chocolate factories!!

CADBURY CHOCOLATE COMPANY was testing “chocolates” on children!!

REPTON SCHOOL!!

WHAT were they putting in the chocolates??

WTH???
🤯39👍3😈31
CADBURY executives used Dahl and his fellow students at Repton as taste testers.

“It was the perfect setup—an isolated population of teens and preteens who exchanged confidentiality for a little gray box containing a grading sheet and 12 different bars of chocolate—one “control” bar and 11 new confections.”

One “Control” chocolate bar?
Eleven that were “new confections”??

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A PHARMACEUTICAL EXPERIMENT!!

The story of Pfizer began in New York City in 1849, when a pair of German immigrants, cousins Charles Pfizer and Charles F. Erhart, received a $2,500 loan from Charles Pfizer’s father to purchase a commercial building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This is where they embarked upon a joint business venture in the chemical manufacturing industry.
12😈8👍6
Charles Pfizer had been a chemist.

…AND his partner…

Charles Erhart was a confectioner!

He made CANDY!!
🔥16🤯91
Combining their talents, the cousins…CHARLES PFIZER and CHARLES EARHART housed their product within candy or confections.

They made candy lozenges…and toffee-flavored sugar cream cones.

Interesting that the founders of PFIZER, and the title character of Roald Dahl’s book “CHARLIE and The Chocolate Factory”…

was CHARLIE!
