Rockefeller directed Flexner to conduct “polio” experiments using monkeys.
In their first experiment Flexner took ground-up spinal cord cells from a child who died of “polio” and gave it to various animals every which way…by injection, by mouth , by nose, etc.
In this experiment None of the animals got poliomyelitis or “polio.”
